Great game that was on the sega cd system

It plays like the original game on the console but I noticed a few things is missing like the future and past screen changes when sonic passes through the poles.. Each time sonic passes them, a whole new board morphs taking sonic in to another dimension which was cool.. And another thing is missing is the soundtrack.. The music was one of the coolest gaming soundtrack of sonic cd. Too bad neither of this features were added
