This was NOT a free app back when I paid for it, and now Im forced to pay again to remove ads?? SEGA - you had some good games in the past (before you failed in the console market) but your glory days are over.

This game is now ruined by ads. I bought this game a while ago and I still have ads, which means I have to wait every time through an ad. And also you cant play this on the go unless you use data. Other wise this is a great sonic game. Plz fix this sega.

You use the sonic the hedgehog one sprite? Why did you use that instead of the sonic CDs SPRITE you use the sonic the hedgehog one sprite? Why did you use that instead of the song CD Sprite??? And youre using the sonic the head chalk one backgrounds to but still a good game if you have nothing to do on the go go and play this…

Nice classic game with terrible controls and way too many ads.

Ok, every time I get a game over, the sound is always bone chilling and creepy so please fix the issue but other than that 5 stars

Having paid for the game, Im a bit upset that it wants me to pay more to remove the ads. Im not gonna uninstall the game though, its too good for that. I just wish the Ads where more subtle.

I dont care if it has ads this is the most awesomest game and now its free

Sonic has been one games Ive played in my childhood. And now.. its classic is back and better then ever on this single handed mobile phone! People! I can say this game is pretty great and you should buy it now!!! Thanks SEGA!

Sonic CD used to be one of my favorite games. Its a great addition to the series and great on mobile. Whitehead did a great job with the engine. However, the new update that made it free has ruined it a little for me. It causes a bunch of glitches with the animations, especially on the start screen. Its only happened since then, and Ive played on two different phones, each without ads.

This game is one I paid for to play. Now suddenly it wants me to pay again to remove ads, which I refuse to do. The game deserves 4 stars (I refrain from giving it 5 since its not as good as Sonic 2) but it will not have them until ads are removed. I am not happy to see this. It is an unethical move to have someone pay for an app then have them pay again to remove ads.

I purchased this game years ago because its one of my absolute faves but i dont understand why i need to pay more money to remove ads that werent originally there when i bought it. I feel cheated outta the money Ive already spent on it.

So I bought this game in September, and it was absolutely fantastic. However, they made it free, and to remove the ads, I have to pay $1.99, but I have already bought the game! Please fix this.

And not in the good way.... I bought this when it first came out on the App Store. Now I loaded it back up thinking I would play through it again only to see that now I have to put up with ads. Seriously ?! I paid for this game, before you made it free , and I still have to pay more to get rid of the ads. Wow no thanks , way to screw over your fans who bought the game early. I even like this game a lot, one of the best sonic games out there , before they force you to pay more to stop the ads that is. Wont be playing this again til its fixed and I also wont be buying any more games from you guys.

Its good but I wish you could fix the internet issue to make it play offline.

Is amazing definitely get this music on iTunes seriously, yet people didnt get to hear it because you whine about just two ads in a row. Really?! Learn to wait people this is a hidden gem of a game and you just act like you dont care about the levels, story, and not to mention ,the music. People, this is a game that was updated to be free app of the week. Of course you need ads if you are a developer who had you pay when it wasnt updated to this. I just hope you people just had nostalgia or the patience of a monk, it isnt that bad of ad placements when you get used to it. I remember this game and when it was on for free, I was overjoyed to play a sonic game on mobile. Sure some people dont like or have an opinion on the blue blur, but just enjoy the game and forget about the ads. Learn to not whine over stuff like ads, just if you think if this game has flaws. I hope I can get the message across like other more intelligent people than you people who have a non-diet plan.

The game is perfect, dont get me wrong. But I payed for this game years ago, and now they inflate it with ads and make it free?! This is ridiculous. Youre better off buying this on a console or even the original game.

Ive had the paid version for years and I now have ads everywhere. What a scummy idea holding apps hostage until the user forks over more ransom money.

Ive bought Sonic CD three times now; two times on iOS and once on Xbox Live. In my opinion, Sonic CD is one of the best classic sonic games. However, recent updates to the application that holds Sonic CD has made it literally unplayable offline. And thats the problem. Im perfectly fine with ads during the game; my problem is that SEGA is essentially trying to do what Microsoft tried to do with the Xbox One: force users to play offline games online. Thats my beef with this game. I surely hope that this doesnt happen to other classic sonic games such as Sonic 1, 2, and the soon to be released 3 and knuckles.

I play mostly on cell data and the ads are way to plentiful. Just starting the game has already taken up 50 megs... that is ludicrous.
