I love this game, this is the first time I see a Sega CD game Remastered on the go, and I love it, too bad SEGA doesnt want a Extra Boss in this final game ( seriously SEGA you need to put this as well otherwise it would make this game a little pointless) but wheres the debug mode, I enter the code for the debug and I tried to touch the score but sonic doesnt turn into a ring, plz add the debug mode. Great game btw

Okay, so I beat the game with sonic with all the time stones, then I close the app and turn off my phone. I turn it back on, wanting to play some more, AND MY SAVE IS GONE. Only giving one star because I love this game.

I love this game so much! I cant believe its actually on my phone! I would say the only flaw is that the originally background and theme music has changed...

Its great to play as tails but wheres knuckles he was in the other sonic ports

Lets face it, the game is a classic and I paid $3 for it. It was a mistake, I have it on the iPhone 5 and because the screen is small, the controls are even smaller. SEGA, this game has great potential, but the only way I can play it is if you could customize how big the D-Pad and jump button is. Please can you add this and I will re install it.

This game emphasizes level exploration over speed. It can still be played fast like any other sonic game but any other sonic games does speed better than this one. Its still pretty good, levels just go by very quickly if you do choose to focus on speed.

When Sega makes a great game, it looks, feels, and sounds good. When you play a great Sega game it becomes memorable. Sega has so many classics, it would be pointless to attempt to name some. Sonic CD is no exception, with its enhanced cinematic opening, to its classic gameplay, its Sonic at his peak. The only thing this game needs is Knuckle as another unlockable character, along with Tails. There are other interesting Sonic characters, but start with Knuckle please if any additional characters are added to this master piece. When playing Sonic CD, I wonder why the heck the Sega CD didnt catch on. I know there are a few key reasons, but man, I must say it was a game console whose potential wasnt fully realized. This is a prime example of gaming greatness at its best. Kinda like when I played Super Mario World on my SNES for the first time. Memories like these will never fade. Oh, I will purchase Sonic 2 when there is a way for it to be connected to Sonic and Knuckles, when that is released as well. Please continue to make great games for us Sega. Never disappear or give up the Console Wars. Please continue to give us new 16 and 32 bit games in the vein of Sega Genisis and 32x, but with Mr. Sega CDs beautiful sound capabilities. That is my dream. Thank you for all the Streets of Rage Games, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Coloumns, Afterburner, and so many more. How about a Vampire Master of Darkness rerelease based on the Master System port, bigger screen and you can see what sub weapon you have and its amount, unlike its Game Gear counterpart. Once again thank you Sega.

Why do you have to beat the game to unlock tails? Cant we just buy him?

I think Cristian whitehead to add a new level called cooky castle cuz you know that thing in the D.A. garden that takes place of the egg man statue? That would be cooky castle and you only get it if you either use the stage select or getting all good futures until metallic madness then after metallic madness to get the good ending you have to get the cooky castle good future to get the good ending. But still this is is a good game and needs desert dazzle!

I love this app! Sure there are some minor physic issues with the pinball thing but this is not bad. Its perfect! Totally worth the money!

Even in 2015, SEGA still does what Nintendont!!

I wish I could give this game 5 stars. Really, I do. However, ever since upgrading to iOS 9.1, whenever I lock my device or start Multitasking, the game would restart! This gets really frustrating when Im playing the game during my schools passing periods, ESPECIALLY in Tidal Tempest. Whether this is an iOS 9.1 bug or a Sonic CD bug I do not know, but I am really hoping it gets fixed!

The bosses are amazing metal sonic and the final boss are the best. The cutscenes are awesome and the best things are the animations. There only 1 problem you cant turn into super sonic or hyper sonic it would be amazing if you could right.

The US soundtrack for the invincibility and speed music are too awesome. My favorite one of the two is the invincibility music. Super awesomeness.

Ok so this game is great in favor of all my favorite sonic games this is #1. In the next update could you add knuckles and you can unlock him by saving the day as tails and could you put sonic the hedgehog 3 and sonic and knuckles on the AppStore I would appreciate it

Great game but....no creepy hidden message (90s gamers would know what I mean) but another masterpiece by sega

Where is the original soundtrack and intro movie I have gone back to playing this on my real sega cd but this is great if you no longer own one but pleasse put up the original soundtracks and intro movie also original paradise island music when can you add them i wil put 5 stars.

I grew up on this game on Sega CD and I happily threw down a few bucks to be reunited with what is my personal favorite 2D sidescrolling Sonic game. The game itself is such a gem with "past" and "future" versions of each level. Level design is gorgeous, either soundtrack is great. Plus the time attack is fun! I am still still stressed by the Metal Sonic encounter however. Some things dont change
